Sit In An Air Conditioned Theater Day, An Ollie Holiday

Ollie and friends sitiing in a movie theater with popcorn and soda
Time spent with friends is time well spent.

One of my favorite things to do is go to the to see a movie or twelve.

I love the popcorn and the previews and the candy.  I also love seeing a new adventure on the big screen.  My friends and I like space movies, adventures and comedies.  We don’t like all that mushy romantic stuff though.  Blech.  I also love to look at all the movie posters lining the walls.  I have some in my room and in the tree house.

My favorite part of going to the movies is when I go in the summer.

I love summer but sometimes it gets too hot.  And sticky.  When you have fur being sticky is really no fun.  One time we lost a gumdrop in Clownley Bear’s fur.  That took a while to wash out.  He was so mad.  Haw!  We love the movies because we get to sit in the air conditioning and smell popcorn for a few hours.  That’s one of my favorite smells.

My friends and I look to see what’s playing at Moonwater Cinema and Tacos so maybe we can make a day of it.  We all get our own popcorn because we learned that one big bucket isn’t enough.  Ticklebit prefers raisinettes while Bearly There Bear likes those Goobers thingys.  Artemouse likes twizzlers and looks awful silly eating this giant stick of candy for her tiny little mouse body.  I like everything except watermelon flavored stuff.  Yuck.

We usually throw stuff at each other until the lights go down.  Then we get all quite because we love the previews.  Those are fun.  When they’re really good I sometimes forget what we came to see in the first place!  Does that ever happen to you?

After the movie we get tacos in the lobby.  Sometimes the manager lets us stay for another movie if it’s really hot out or if it’s raining.  That’s fun, too!

What was your favorite movie you saw in the theater?
